Turbo Omaha 8 by Wilson software-- worth it?

Is Turbo Texas Omaha 8 by Wilson software people worth getting?

What specific value and benefits do you get from it?

And the simulations that I occasionally see Buzz/Bradley/others posting – is that from this software?

I'm a winning O8 player at 5-10 (over a pretty short time period), looking to deepen my understanding of the game and the statisitics of it. I'd probably not use to to play against as much, more to run simulations to see how often opponents get certain hands, how profitable certain hands are for me from differnet positions, run how certain hands do on given flops vs. typical opponent starting hands, etc. -- can it do things like this?

For the functions you described it is totally worth it. Since you are already a winning player you won't need to play hands against it per se, but for the high speed simulations and analysis of table conditions, etc it is wonderful.

As a winning player I see little benefit to you owning it. Mine is gathering dust I can give you a good discount and you can have mine.
O8 is very mechanical the simulations more so. Please come to my table so I can give you live lessons it is going to cost you a lot but its worth it. I average about $100 per hour in the 5/10 games. [img]/images/graemlins/shocked.gif[/img]
