Default $12-$24, quick hand.

B&M good game.

I'm on the button in seat 8, couple tight players at my end of the table, and a few loosies at the other end.

2 players in EP limp, 1 MP limper, and I limp on the button with A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Blinds come too.

6 players (3BB)

Flop: K [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

It's checked around.

6 players (3BB)

Turn: T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

Checked to MP who bets....

A word about MP: I've only seen him a couple times in this game and he seems to be trying to play well. I don't have a real good line on his play yet, couple things I've seen: He called my EP raise from the SB with a weak ace, flop came low giving him a pair, and check/called to beat my AK. In another hand I capped the flop with top two, he check raised me on the turn then check/folded on a blank river. I think he respects my play; the few times we've tangled in big pots I've come out ahead.

...I raise, folded back to MP who calls.

River: deuce of purple horseshoes

check, check

Looks great. Same cost to showdown as bet-call, bet-call, and a chance to spike another ten to improve.

I guess the question is, what would he bet with on that turn? I would have bet out with a king on the flop, so a ten or flush draw? If he had a five, he should have reraised you on the turn.

I also accept (and prefer) betting the river. Not sure what he'd check on the flop (then not re-pop on the turn) here that has you beat. Fold to the CR? Yeah, why not?

I'd consider raising this pre-flop if the EP limpers are loose. I'd also value-bet the river here. My guess is that MP has a hand like QTs JTs T9s.

Your hand is strong enough to value bet the river. I'm putting this guy on either a T or a diamond draw. I don't think he'd be able to resist betting the flop with a K.

I like it. If you don't think it's reasonably possible that he has a 5, bet the river--it's the only thing he could have that has you beat. He will probably pay off with QT, etc.
