My main problem with this hand is here on the flop, how much should I raise to protect my hand against KQ and the flush draw? If I raise too much I start to put myself in an awkward position on later rounds or if he pushes, but I don't want to give him odds to hit a flush or straight. b]Turn: ($25.25) Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players) MP3 checks, Hero bets $10, MP3 calls $10. Why are you worried about KQ? |

Re: KK Stars Overpair Hand
I would raise at least 10 on the flop. remember, it has to be enough so it's a mistake for him to call, and $5 to win 20 isn't. And on the turn you should push whatever's left in this situation

Re: KK Stars Overpair Hand
Because on the flop of J [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]4 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] There's the club flush draw, and KQ would be the open-ended straight draw. You want to bet enough that the villain would call, but not have the proper odds to do so.

Oops. Misread the hand. Thanks. |
