I had a bunch of presents in that order (it was supposed to be delivered today). There aren't enough curse words in the English language to express my dissatisfaction. Best part: I placed the order on 12/9 and received these e-mails YESTERDAY! Super-freakin-saver shipping my tuckus! Now I have to *GASP* go to a mall! I'm packin' heat, so if old Mrs. Bluebush cuts me off in the parking lot, watch out! |

Re: F-ing Amazon.com Rant
Sounds like your stuff was in that big fire at the UPS terminal last week. You pays your money and you takes your chances. If I may play Bret Farve here, I'da paid for the faster shipping, but that's just me. The free shipping option more than a week into December is a crap-shoot. If you go with the fast shipping, when the UPS truck burns up, you have a couple weeks notice.
As said above, neither Amazon nor the shipper (probably UPS) did anything wrong, you just got the short end of the cosmic stick. Merry Freakin' Xmas. |

Re: F-ing Amazon.com Rant
I had a problem with them using the 'get it today' link where you can order things for pick up locally. They take the order, then later you find out that the local store is out of stock. NICE.
It turned out ok in my case, since I the local Circuit City contacted me and told me it was out of stock, then emailed me that it was ready. Talked to their CS department twice, and someone at the local store once, to insure that it was there to pickup. After getting the greenlight, I went to get it. Of COURSE, it was out of stock. I yelled at the manager for a few minutes and walked out with a complimentary copy of HL2! I then proceeded to find it at CompUSA. Winner- not Circuit City. |
