Poker Stars Turbo MTT tourneys

Ive seen that Poker Stars has started a turbo MTT tourney and I was going to try it out. But wanted to see how things looked before doing so it seemed like nothing but pure madness. Everyone was going all in with anything and they dont last more then 2 hours with like 1000 people playing. I was woundering if anyone has any ideas on how u could play these things. Because it seems to me that normal tourney stratagy is out the window!
