Default 2 Team Members in Final 3 at Monte Carlo Millions

From:

http://www.pokernews.info/news/2004/...o-millions.htm

So Phil Ivey ends up playing 3 handed vs. 2 players who "formed part of a team of seven Gaming Club players in the Monte Carlo Millions".

Does anyone else think this compromises his chances of winning the event?

Are these teams common? I for one would be disappointed to find out that I was playing against 2 people who were playing with the same BR.
