Do you guys ever call $8 on party 5-10 in sb?
Typical sh pf situation. One raise, one call, you're on sb. Are there any hands you guys call with here, or is it 3-bet or fold? Generally, I call with suited aces, 9 10s, KJo, QJo, A10o and any pair and 3 bet or fold the rest. Is this correct? Thanks in advance.

Your standards are way too loose IMO. I typically only call with med pairs against typicall opponents, and smaller pairs against those capable of recklessly spraying chips postflop.
The unsuited broadways are too difficult to play out of position when possibly dominated. |

With a raise and a call I usually muck hands like KJo. Trouble hands, regardless if you have half a bet invested.

Consider the raiser's position when you decide to call or fold. You can call with more hands from the SB when the raiser is on the button because you can use an aggressive player's position against him and face the field with two bets cold when you hit a favorable flop.
I rarely cold call in the SB. I prefer to 3-bet with KQs/AJs/AQo/99, but I will often call KQo/KJs/ATs/AJo/77. Small pairs 66-22 are playable in multiway pots. Middling offsuit broadways are poison. Edit: Against a steal raise I would 3-bet all of those hands except 55-22. |

I agree, KTo and such will just get you into trouble, calling with T9s isn't as bad IMO, especially if you are sure the raiser will bet the flop regardless so you can CR a favorable flop which can look more like a semi-bluff as opposed to a turn CR.

I'm not calling with any of the weak unsuited broadways. I will call with med pocket pairs and suited broadways
