What range of hands can BB call w/ here?
PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em Tourney, Big Blind is t2000 (9 handed)
MP2 (t14926) MP3 (t21231) CO (t10326) Button (t8800) Hero (t18201) BB (t12706) UTG (t25849) UTG+1 (t5392) MP1 (t15144) Preflop: Hero is SB with 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 raises to t6000, CO folds, Button folds, Hero raises to t18101, BB calls t10606 (All-In), MP3 folds. My hand is irrelevant to MP3's raise. He has yet to miss an opportunity to open-raise. I have played super-tight thus far and have looked TAG overall. I have folded to the raise (always my blinds) several times and have also pushed back twice. So, FWIW that is my read which I am comfortable with. However, my question is the range of hands BB can be expected to call with. He has not been at the table long and is not aware of my play. Results to follow. |

Re: What range of hands can BB call w/ here?
With him holding only 5BB's and a chance to possibly triple up, he could be holding any pair in his hand hoping you both have overcards.
Obviously unless you're right on a moneyline bubble he would probably be calling with AKs and probably AQs. |

Is this really the optimum point to make a move?

I guess I should clarify that we not near the money. 900 started and we are probably down to 200. 81 spots paid. Buy in is 10+1

yah i dont like your play here. regardless, i think the bb would be inclined to call you with 99-AA, AK and AQ.
