Default JJ w/ all 3 overcards

First hand at table. Through some mining I know that UTG is a LPP, 51%, 1%, .51.

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is BB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, 3 folds, Button calls, SB completes, Hero raises, UTG calls, UTG+1 calls, UTG+2 calls, MP1 calls, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop: (14 SB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (7 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 calls, MP1 folds, Button calls, SB folds.

Turn: (9 BB) Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls, UTG+2 calls, Button folds.

River: (12 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG calls $0.88 (All-In), UTG+2 folds.

Final Pot: 13.88 BB

Check fold the flop or turn. You wasted way too much money on this.

It seems to me that check/folding the flop would be fairly weak/tight.

I should probably have checked the turn, however. But how sure can you be that you're beat?

Seven ways with JJ on a K or A high flop makes me want to poop in my pants (and the jacks are in my pants).

It's not about being sure that you're beat, it's about the 2.5 BB showdown with your 2 outer.

Don't bet the turn. I wouldn't even bet this flop. Most people will fear you have AK or something and just call all the way with weak kings (and this is a perfect strategy against you here).
