River is a 2 of spades

I show pair of Jacks, Ace kicker
He shows Q spades, Jack of spades for 2 pair.

Almost got him to lay it down, but I figured I still had a lot of clean heart outs and a possible out with the ace if he had two pair.

I don't play poker with decks that have two 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]s in them.

Again, the pre-flop smooth call of a raise in this spot is the worst possible play. You either re-raise him all in or you fold, it's that simple. I mean what happens if you flop a jack, particularly if you flop a jack with overs and there's big action from the other player, you're beat as he either hit the over, has an over or flopped a set. What happens if an ace hits the board, you have kicker problems.

AJ off in the SB to that raise with these stack sizes and blinds is an easy, easy laydown for me in this spot, results of the hand are irrelevant. Again, re-raising all-in is an option, but smooth-calling the raise is a the worst of the three possibilities.
