A6o in BB
$40-80 at Bay101. Two players limped and the small blind completed. The SB had 3SB's left. I checked in the big blind with A6o, both black. Four players to the flop.
The flop was 6-5-5 with two diamonds. The small blind bet out. I raised. The next player called two cold. The next player folded. The small blind reraised exactly allin and I made it four bets. The non-allin guy called two more cold, and now there was 1BB in the headsup side pot with me first. I rigidly put my opponent on a flush draw or straight draw based on the geyser of information that he provided during the flop betting. My plan was set. I would spend most my energy trying to figure out if the turn card made him his pat hand or if it gave him a bigger pair than sixes, and assuming it went bet-by me, call-by-him on the turn, I'd check the river and spend the rest of my energy trying to figure out if he is bluffing the river if he bets after I check. The turn was a king. I bet and he called. I still liked my hand. The river was an eight. I checked as planned. He bet. I didn't like it so I folded. Opponent rolled 8-7 for a pair of eights. The SB had a five. Tommy |

Re: A6o in BB
Nice hand.
If the SB had raised PF leaving him with 2 SBs, what would be your play? |

Re: A6o in BB
I can see why the SB only had 3 small bets left..... limps in with a 5! It is nice to see you back to raising, and making the best decisions throughout the hand.....
Nice hand |

I raised. [/ QUOTE ] Tommy, you gotta tell us to sit down if you're gonna post stuff like this. I hate the river play more than I could ever explain in text...but I've learned not to question these things you do anymore. |
