I scrolled down to the flop, didnt read past that, and already I thought "yes, bet the river"

I read the rest, and I agreed with me.

That's not a scare card. Bet the river. The real question is: do you 3-bet it if it comes back raised? (Assume h2h)

Checking this river doesn't even qualify as passive play. It's just lame.
Sure you might lose to a straight, but that wont't happen at all that often.
Probably there is a busted flush draw out there somewhere.
If it was raised I'd probably just call it down expecting to be beat though.

If it's seat 1 I re-raise. He's got two pair(AT). If it's seat 10 I call and cry, he's got the straight.

Impressive (at least to a noob like me). It was seat ten, he had 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]
