Default 62o in the BB, value betting?

I'm new just starting my foray into 6 max games and I was wondering about situations like this. Should I just give up after he calls the flop?

Party 5/10 6-Max (6 handed)

Villain is on the loose passive side.

Hero is in BB with 6 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

PREFLOP: Folded to SB who completes, Hero Checks.

FLOP: K [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 6 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
SB checks, Hero Bets?, SB calls

TURN: T [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
SB checks, Hero Bets?, SB calls

RIVER: A [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
SB Bets, Hero Calls???

no you must bet flop and turn when checked to with the intention of checking behind on river. when he bets the river it really sucks. i'm tempted to fold ...

I think he can check the turn and fold to a riverbet, if the passive guy has A-high he probably wont bet the river anyways, but if he has something else then it got help on the turn if it doesnt allready beat hero.

These passive guys likes to check-call alot in my experience after they openlimp the SB.

ack! these guys take one off the flop with nearly any two; a turn bet here is mandatory. I think a pure bluff here would be close to profitable, so betting with a made hand has to be.
