Default JJ in first round of tournament hand

This hand came up in the first round of a 100NL Party tourney. I like my preflop and flop play, but I'm not sure about my check on the turn. I picked up an open straight draw and didn't want to get raised off the hand so I checked it. Any opinions on anything?

This smells like the UTG villian was on a flush draw. I'm sure if he held a king or possibly a set he would have bet the flop or atleast the turn hoping to have check raised you on the flop. I believe you should have bet the turn and charged the villian for chasing.

I put villain on a flush draw or (possibly, depending on how fishy he might be) a weakish king. (Calling your bet with KQ would not be the worst play in the world.)

Once he calls your flop bet you've got the choice between checking down or firing again on the turn. At this point, I'm checking.
