Default Laptop rental?

I'll be visiting family out of town for the Thanksgiving weekend and am looking to rent a laptop computer for that time to use in my hotel room to put some hours at the tables in.

Does anyone have any experience or recommendations for a laptop rental service to use?

Save the money, forget the laptop and spend some time with your family.

You've obviously never met my family.

Seriously, though, our house is so crowded that I'll be staying at a nearby hotel, which will mean hours of either watching TV or watching TV + playing poker, no matter what.

In seattle a used laptop retailer will 'rent' laptops to you. Basically you put down a 'deposit' and have part of it returned to you when you're done (the one here was buy the month). The reason why rent & deposit were in quotes is because the 'deposit' is equal to the full amount they want for the laptop. They simply buy it back from you when you're done with it (at a greatly reduced price).

Though I appreciate all the thoughtful and wholesome suggestions, can we refrain from value judgements and just stick to my original questions? Thanks.

Go to staples. Put it on your credit card. Use. Return.
Works like a charm.
