A friend's email this morning, voting in Ohio:

My experience voting this morning:

The lines in the punch section of the voting booth did not match up
with the lines on the ballot (which is attached over the punch
section). Therefore, it was very difficult to be sure that I was
voting for the correct people. [Phil accidently voted for Bush.] I
announced this and no one from the Board of Elections would come over
to my booth and take a look at the lines. They would not help me. They
did not care. One woman said, "It's great that you stood up for
yourself." I asked, "can you fix this?" She directed me to another BOE
worker who was looking up names and then would not help.

Also, the line was backed up because it really should've been two
lines for the two different precincts. However, it could not be
discovered as such until the tiny voting room is entered. It was
confusing as to where you sign in, where you vote and where you take
your ballot after you vote. It was a lot of zig-zag walking around the
room. There was no direction or attention on behalf of the BOE.

I filed a complaint with our Election protection folks.
