Default Is this a good PF push?

I'm just getting back into NL. Please let me know what you think of my PF push here.

(blinds $0.01/$0.02) No Limit Texas Hold'em - Paradise.
Stacks:
SB: 13.08
BB: 13.44
UTG: 02.00
UTG+1: 01.98 (hero)
UTG+2: 00.42
MP1: 01.18
MP2: 00.09
MP3: 03.03
CO: 03.28
B: 01.86

Hero is UTG+1, dealt kings.

PF: utg calls, hero raises to 4xbb, fold, mp1 raise to 7xbb, fold, fold, fold, button calls, fold, bb calls, utg calls, hero...

Pot is: 7xbb*4 + 4.5 = 0.65 (not a bad pot for someone with a $2 stack!)

Stacks of those left (from before deal):
BB: 13.44
UTG: 02.00
UTG+1: 01.98 (hero)
MP1: 01.18
B: 01.86

At this point I go all in. Obviously, the only hand expected to beat me is AA.

I'm not deep stacked compared to the pot, so AK and QQ or worse have no reason to lay down here.

Was this the correct play?

you want to limit the field to 1 at most 2 with hands like this. I think push is a good move considering pot is 1/3 of your stack. you don't want AX / PP's to flop a hand that could beat yours.

When pot is big, your priority is to maximize your chance of winning!

Agreed.

Should I have raised the pot instead of raised all-in though?

Okay, that makes sense.

What other hands do you think will call me when I go ai, though?

I think that what he's saying is that there's already a ton of cash in the pot -- enough to walk away with and be happy.

Since this is a cash game, you do want as many callers as you can get, since you've probably got the best of it.

However, you want them to call you AI on the PF, when you have the best hand, rather than getting a chance to cheaply reach for their ace, two pair, four flushes, open straights, or trips.

Does this sound right?

I'd do exactly the same. Letting a flop come sucks, because if an ace flops it will have two effects:

1) You might not have the best hand anymore. (You probably do preflop)
2) The ace will scare QQ-TT.

I'd like to get my money in preflop and hope the worse hands call.
