Default Boring AA hand $50NL 6-max

AA in the SB.

Hero= $65
Villian $90

UTG limps, UTG+1 limps, CO folds, Button limps, I raise to $5, BB calls, UTG calls, UTG+1 folds, Button calls.

Four to the flop for $21

Flop is 2 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 7 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]8 [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

I bet $15, BB folds, UTG calls, Button folds.

Heads up with UTG to the Turn of 3 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I bet $30, UTG calls.

River is a A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

I bet $10, UTG calls.

I put him on a pocket pair between 99-KK, and I thought that the Ace on the river was a scare card so I bet just enough for him to have to call? or would he have had to call my all in for $15 anyways?

Anything else you would have done differently?

No of course not. I won the hand. I'm just thinking did I waste $5 by not pushing the river with the 2nd nuts.

Seems standard...one variation might be to bet a little less on the flop to get more than one caller or induce a bluff raise...board looks pretty draw-free unless these guys are calling raises preflop with total junk (I guess T9s isnt out of the question).

To me, on the river a 2/3 stack bet indicates more strength than an all-in, I'd probably be less likely to call it. But I think against most ppl on the $50 6 max it was the perfect amount.

On the river, the pot was over $100 when it got to you. Anything that he will call $10 with he will call $15 all in with, too. Push it.

I don't think there's many hands that he would call getting 10:1 but fold with getting 8:1. The more important thing though, is how the hell do you get PF callers with your AA in the 6-max? I'm still facing the rock gardens from hell wherever I play.

I would have to agree with zag and jordan. the pot is huge. if he's calling for 10, he's calling for 15.

I think that putting him all in on the turn is fine aswell. If he's drawing he'll likely call $45 as often as he'll call $30.
