SB had been trying to steal my blinds every chance he had. Does anyone play this one differently? I thought there was a chance he could have a straight, but the turn gave me a flush draw too, so I pushed. i also thought he could have as little as an ace. Unless he does have the straight, I am in good shape on the turn. Thoughts?

Default Re: Empire Freeroll Final Table Hand

your flop raise was solid.

your bet and re-raise (!) on the turn are very suspect. there is a good chance he has something like A6, A7, A8 or A9 (good stealing hands). picking up the flush draw is good, but why raise when you know he's not going to fold. if you make your flush on the river, then you can consider raising.

the call on the end was fine.
