Default What a Disaster!

Party Poker 0.5/1 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 folds, MP1 raises, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button calls, Hero 3-bets, BB folds, MP1 caps, Button calls, Hero calls.

Flop: (13 SB) 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets, Button calls, Hero calls.

Turn: (8 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets, Button folds, Hero calls.

River: (10 BB) K[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero checks, MP1 bets, Hero folds.

Final Pot: 11 BB

Results in white below:
MP1 doesn't show.
Outcome: MP1 wins 11 BB.

Alright, I'm pretty sure I made a few mistakes here, but I'm curious as to what the right play on each street should be.

Preflop: out of position, call?
Flop: Pot is way to big to not call
Turn: I just got a few more outs, pot still big, call?
River: Pot is decently big and I just folded, is this right? Will I win at least 1 in 11? Call again?

I know I sound like a calling station, but is this right?

Thanks for comments.

I just call the PF raise - AJo is a hand you should consider folding here, and AJs is a hand you shouldn't want to call for more than 2 bets.

I call the flop and fold the turn - If he doesn't have AA-TT, he at least has AK or AQ - I lay it down.

I agree with Ajax here. Call preflop, call flop, fold turn. If you hadn't 3-bet preflop, the pot wouldn't be big enough that you'd be considering calling the turn.

I tend to fold this preflop.

I think folding is fine, but so is calling (you're getting a little over 3.5:1 here). If button folds, mucking this hand is probably better.

Raising is a bad idea, especially out of position.

AJs is no 3bet hand. If he is a loose raiser then he might have AJo or KQo which you only just beat however anything else dominates you.

The fact that you are in SB and your cards are suited means this is worth a call.

I'd sometimes checkraise the flop here to see if there is a spade or I hit a pair. Mainly to see how much he likes his hand. Sometimes you can win the pot when they just have overcards.

In this situation you have nothing on the flop so fold.
