Default $5/$10 NLHE live hand

First of all, I posted a long trip report with a bunch of hands in the multi table forum

http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/sh...14&fpart=1

with some interesting hands I think so if you're interested you can check those out and post there.

So first night I got there I played the $5/$10 NLHE game they have I bought in for $2300, they have a weird rule where if you enter the pot you have to make it $20 to go so as my friend pointed out it played more like a $10/$20 game. The game started out very loose, compltely differetn from the pokerstars games, there were many multiway pots with 4 or 5 people limping which almost never happens on Pokerstars. My trip to TS this weekend made me realize how tight $5/$10 PS is.

Later on in the game a couple people limp and I raise to $100 in the BB with red kings. EP limper calls. I think he is okay, agressive and possibly overplays his hands (he has me covered). Flop is 8d 8s 5d, I check to him, he checks. Turn is Td, I lead otu $125 he raises to $300. I'm not afraid of an 8, I was basically thinking of how to get as much of his money in as I can. I rarely reraise in a situation like this but maybe it's good here cause he might overplay a draw and I don't think he has an 8. Although, I'm not completely sure he doesn't have an 8, and I'm not sure I'd be happy getting our whole stacks in now. I just call. Plus, I think this player thinks I am weak/tight.

River is 2o. I led out $150. In retrospect I think I should have lead out for more, like $350. Comments?

you led for less than 1/5 of the pot on the river? it doesn't sound like you were trying to get as much money in as you possibly could.

The idea was to induce a bluff. However I think the $150 bet is too obvious, a $350 bet looks like I am trying to get a cheap showdown or maybe bluff with Ad. I have been experimenting with underbets lately based off of Ray Zee's post in the archives about them.
