Those three are very different in nature, and don't compete specifically against each other. Zen mentality will help help your game intensely, but there are much better zen books than the one specifically written for poker. Inside the Poker Mind is a book of essays, much like Mason's essays. Schoonmaker's book, well, you own it so you don't need me to tell you.

i know it may be sacrilege, but i would recommend Inside the Poker Mind over Psychology of Poker.

I've read both and enjoyed both and i think PoP is indeed a good book. But in my development as a poker player Inside the Poker Mind deserves a lot of credit for taking my game to the next level. To the level of beating the party 15. It trule helped me get in the mind of a good mid limit player. I found it full of explicit useful examples along with good ways to generalize the concepts presented.
In trying to make the jump from party 3/6 to party 15/30, Inside the Poker Mind was the single most useful book i read. (Followed closely by SSH)

I would agree with your decision. My book is a textbook for Poker Psychology 101. John's book is for more advanced players. Mason published both on the same day to appeal to two different audiences.

Al
