2/5 nl flopped two pair hand...need advice
ok here's the situation, you're playing 2/5 nl, 6 people at the table. you're in the bb. utg limps, everyone else folds to you. utg is fairly weak-tight, but capable of bluffing. you've got j4 offsuit, so you check.
flop: j84 rainbow. how do you play it? if you check, assume utg bets $25. now what? turn: 9 now what? |

bet pot or check raise? I prefer to check raise because it tends to yield more information.

Re: 2/5 nl flopped two pair hand...need advice
The 9 is a blank. It shouldn't change your thinking. He's either got a set, or you've got him, and with a stack that small for the villain, you've got no way to get away from your hand.
If UTG only has 200, it should all be going in on by the turn. Check/raise the flop, or check/raise the turn. |

Re: 2/5 nl flopped two pair hand...need advice
yeah, CR to 85-100 and hope he pushes. if not, put him in on any turn (except maybe another 8). that would just suck.
