Default me vs bikekick

same tough 2+2 table. schneids and bike had been playing super aggressively, esp against each other

Party Poker 5/10 Hold'em (10 handed) converter

Preflop: Hero is UTG+1 with K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG folds, Hero raises, UTG+2 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO folds, Button folds, SB (bikekick) 3-bets, BB folds, Hero calls.

Flop: (7 SB) 5[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB bets, Hero raises, SB calls.

River: (8.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero checks.

Final Pot: 8.50 BB
Main Pot: 8.50 BB, between SB and Hero. > Pot won by SB (8.50 BB).

Results in white below:
SB has 6d 6h (two pair, tens and sixes).
Hero has Kh Qs (one pair, tens).
Outcome: SB wins 8.50 BB.

after the hand, bikekick said "thought so" and then "if you had bet the river i would have folded". what do you all think?

I really think I played this hand quite well. The ace is the 'ultimate' scare card and it's going to take a river bet to convince me he's got me beat. If he wants to bluff again on the river after i canlled on that scary of a board, that takes balls and a good read...and as I said, I would have folded to a river bet.

Well, it's easy to say now that I see the results, but I think you have to follow through on the river. A good player is capable of recognizing that if he wasn't beat before, he probably is now, and making the "good" fold. Take advantage.

Good luck.

I was going to ask in elindauer's post, but figured it was a misprint. What are all these 2+2 Party 15 killers doing on the 5?

BTW - kick folds 66 to your river bet and that was a terrible turn raise if you weren't going to follow up his call with a bluff bet missed river behind his check.

It's a 2+2 private game.

Yeh.
Also, if you(bikekick) had bet, I'd lay down the KQ. The ace should be particularly scary to you since he raised UTG preflop.
