When do you raise the flop?
Assume you have AKs and you raise preflop. With a completely blank board, what situations do you bet the flop?
1. 2 opponents, you have the button 2. 4 opponents, you have the button 3. 2 opponents, you are first to act 4. 3 opponents, one left to act after you I know there are no hard rules, but I'm curious as to what most (good) players would do. Does a mildly coordinated board change anything? Thanks, Spicymoose |

Re: When do you raise the flop?
The flop texture and the quality of opponents are just as important.

Re: When do you raise the flop?
You just sat down at a typical 2/4 Party game, no reads. Flop comes 2h, 5d, Jc.

Re: When do you raise the flop?
Take this with a shaker of salt...
1) Bet 2) Bet 3) Bet 4) Bet Read the overcards section of small stakes hold'em and do a search it's been discussed zillions of times and there are some essays and such also written if you dig deep enough |
