making polls
this is probably just a case of yelling into the wind, but i think its worth typing here somewhere.
if you make a poll, why not give an option of not answering as you: a, have no opinion b, have no idea what is right however it would let you see the results. often info in polls can be valuable, an example just from today is one about ePassport bonuses. if you want to see the results without having an answer your forced to click 'wtf is ePassport?????'. otherwise your influencing the vote without having any knowledge. the poll today about customer service is another good example. i havent played most of the sites there. ive only just signed up for a party skin today for the first time - and judging by the past threads and responces there im in for a fun time if i have a problem. however its nice to know what most people actually consider to be best. i leave you with a variation on a little proverb i either read somewhere or made it, or dreamt or something: "the difference between a wise man and a fool is two-fold. the wise man knows he doesnt know everything, however he also knows that all information is important information." moral of the story. put a 'i dont know but want to see others views' or such variation in your polls. Re: making polls
Excellent point--However, in my defense I think "wtf is ----- ?" is culturally acceptable zoo-speak for "I am not familiar with the subject and therefore have no opinion".
