AJo
Standard table - players are generally too loose and too passive, but I don't have notes on most because I just moved to $1/$2 recently. Since I 4 table and am not superhuman, I only have a strong read on one nutball at the table, who is not a factor in this hand.
Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (10 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $1. Hero calls, UTG+1 folds, UTG+2 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO (poster) raises, Button folds, SB folds, BB calls, Hero calls. Flop: (6.50 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players) BB checks, Hero ??? |

Re: AJo
Hey can you PM me this hand? The player counting is messed up. i.e: Where's MP1?

Re: AJo
Thanks Quercus. Here you go:
Raise preflop. Party Poker 1/2 Hold'em (9 handed) Preflop: Hero is UTG with J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. CO posts a blind of $1. Hero calls, UTG+1 folds, MP1 folds, MP2 folds, MP3 folds, CO (poster) raises, Button folds, SB folds, BB calls, Hero calls. Flop: (6.50 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players) BB checks... |

Re: AJo
Would you always raise preflop here, or only on loose tables? If I'm reading the SSH stuff correctly, a raise with AJo preflop would be appropriate on a table where 6-8 normally see the flop. This table is too loose, but not quite up to that standard.
Of course, its always possible that a) Miller is incorrect or b) I'm reading the tables wrong. |

Re: AJo
At this table do you think that a raise with AJo will get called by worse aces and worse jacks and crap non-pair hands on a regular basis?
That's the basic question. |
