Default Amazing hand I had today

Had this wonderful hand today (on Paradise Poker) - especially as I won it!

I will list it from the opponents point of view - makes it more exciting!

On a $10 NL table - so more for the excitement than the money.

Hero is SB - I am button.

Hero is dealt: 6[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]
First in calls.
Second in has pre-posted.
All fold to me and I call.
Hero calls.

Flop: [7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]]

An almost dream flop for him. Flush plus open-ended straight-flush draw!

He bets $0.50 (low value table)
Folded to me and I call.

Turn: 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

Hero's dream has come true.
Decides to check-raise.
But I check too; so no bets on the turn.

River: J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

We now have a flush on the table and hero has a straight flush.

Hero bets $2.20
I raise to $4.40
Hero raises all-in $11.10
I call all-in $6.65 (pity I didn't have more)

He shows his 6 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 5 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] for a straight-flush 4-8
I show T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] for a straight-flush 7-J!!

First time I have ever seen two straight-flushes come up like that.

Collected $22.45, Net $10.80

Pity is wasn't a $100 dollar game.

We each thought that the other had A flush Ace high.
In fact, had he pushed it on the turn I may have folded.

Im confused; not sure if you won or lost the hand. Pushing the turn seems like a bad idea. Why would you want to shut out any hands with the made straight flush? 9-J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] are the only three cards you would be worried about, and even then, only slightly worried. Ace high flush will probably move in on you anyway with pretty much the same line that you had on the river. Oh well, bad beat. I dont see how you could have played it any different

I think the OP mixed up the use of Hero and Villain.

Not mixed up.
I did it intentionally.
The hand is much more exciting seeing it from his side (always fun seeing someone lose on teh river - especially when you are the winner).
