Default Go broke on this one?

Single table sit-and-go. 30+3$, started with 10 people down to 8. Blinds 15/30.

SB: T1630
BB: T2288
UTG: T1169
UTG+1: T723
UTG+2: T1115
Hero: T900
Button-1: T1250
Button: T880

Hero gets J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], K [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]
UTG folds
UTG+1 calls the BB,
UTG+2 folds
Hero calls BB
Button - 1 calls BB
Button calls BB
SB folds
BB checks, pot is T165

Flop 9 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img],T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], J [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Checked around to hero who bet T90. My thinking is I have top pair and since there were no pre-flop raises didn't think AA, KK, QQ, was out there. I had a J so wasn't worried about someone with JJ. Big concern was someone with a Q, 8, or AX of [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. Get 3 callers (UTG+1 folded).

Turn J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

BB checked and I lead out with T150 since I how have top set. Someone with TT or 99 worries me but I still feel like I'm ahead in the hand or if I'm not, have lots of outs (last J gives me 4 J's, Q [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] gives me the straight flush, any Q gives me the possible nut straight unless someone has AK, Any diamond gives me a flush, and a 9,T, or K give me the boat for a total of 18? outs).
Button -1 raised it to T476, SB, BB fold and its back to me. Button -1's play is average. Didn't think about it long and pushed all-in and he called.

River 5 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Button - 1 wins with 8 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] for a Q high straight.

While it was still early I really thought I had this one and with all the outs I wasn't drawing dead against anything (I don't think?) Thoughts? Raise pre-flop to get rid of some of the junk? Check the turn and call any bet? Call the turn and check the river and fold it unless I hit the boat?

Thanks,

-Geng

Default Re: Go broke on this one?

Eh, I think this is one of those hands that you might go broke on no matter what you do. The only thing I would've done diffrently for sure is that I would have made a pot sized bet on the flop.
