Default Why Pokerstars?

Hi,

It seems like there are a lot of 2+2ers on Pokerstars. Any Reason?

Thanks,

Tim

Best software and support. If they had more fish it would be the ultimate site. Still rather profitable...

there are more than enough bad players there to make it all worthwhile. They have by far the best support (they facilitate deals at the final table) and I feel more comfortable with their structure than with any other sites.

I too feel a lot more comfortable with their structure. 1500 chips in sit'n'go vs. 800 in the smaller buy in SNG's on party. I prefer more chips in front of me with the same blind structure as party. Also, 1000 chips seems kinda small for big MTT on party. Those blinds go up quick, so it turns into crap shoots.

I prefer stars, but PP is a darn fishtank

i too like it because of their 1,500 chips.

my question is how did PP emerge to be the leading online site? why does everyone flock there?

Better marketing both TV and online (biggest affiliate refer a friend ecosystem). And of course Shana Hiatt.

it's a lot harder to follow the action on pokerstars IMO, and those stupid round images should be banned forever. i just block them off whenever i play, which is rarely. i didn't even bother to clear a bonus on there. i don't understand why people say it has the best software, and i've played so little on it, i've never needed support for anything. in short, i hate it.

cheers!

What `round images'? What are you talking about?

You get to start with more chips 1500 vs 1000/800 in the SnG's. Although, at the end of these and later in the MTT's, the blinds + antes end up higher than Party.

Ring games allow you to buy in with twice as many BB as on Party.

I love the little round images as it makes it easier to remember the players from game to game and therefore increases the reads you get on their line of play.
