Default Too weak or ok? Party 1/2

The turn C/R scared me, my read on the check-raiser was aggressive but ok. The river is a scare card and then its checked to me? Should I bet here?

Thanks in advance,
DeathDonkey

It is weird for a guy to c/r the turn and not bet the river. Maybe he had TJ and missed his straight, weird. He could be consumed with fancy play syndrome, he could think you made a flush, who knows. Probably still worth a bet on the river though.

Yeah I was pretty confused by the action. It seemed likely he had turned two pair and now feared a flush / unlikely straight. I mostly checked the river because I felt I would have to pay off a check-raise and one seemed pretty likely given the position of the bettors on the previous streets.

I also couldn't believe that 5 saw the flop and all 5 saw the river at Party 1/2.

Maybe that was the whole point in MP1's action. As Sent said, the only thing he could've had at that point was maybe two pairs.
I'm thinking he tried to represent something by the check raise, but what I don't know.
This is an interesting hand, isn't it? You played the preflop perfectly. You have a very strong hand on the flop. You're not getting any action from anyone so you have to believe you have the best hand here.
The turn is a bit weird with MP1's play. Question is, should you have raised MP1 here?
I think on the river you bet, if nothing else to represent the flush. It's strange that so many just hung around, and didn't really play anything, or is this typical of 1/2?

I found it strange. I can't believe nobody folded the turn. I couldn't imagine four opponents and nobody hitting on that river. I really really really didn't want to pay 2 bets on the river and felt a check-raise was coming or I was behind MP1 anyway so what is the point? I was wrong on all accounts, and shocked to take down this pot...

Wow! I'd like to get a list of those players, and play their tables when I start playing online. It certainly is a very interesting hand, and the playing is...what can you say? Can you say Passive?
It appears the only person who had any business staying in this game was the UTG+2. I can't believe he didn't raise the flop....And then when he caught the Q on the turn.
I don't know. Take this to the bank!
BTW, like raising on the turn even moreso.
