worth chasing?
Table is fairly typical. In the two orbits I've sat at the table, I don't think UTG has folded a single hand yet.
Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (10 handed) converter Preflop: Hero is BB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]. UTG calls, 2 folds, MP1 calls, 5 folds, Hero checks, Flop: (3.50 SB) 6[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players) Hero checks, UTG checks, MP1 bets, Hero ??? I have just barely enough odds to call the double-gutshot in a small pot (I wasn't counting the T as an overcard out). The downside is that the 5 lets any 9 beat me, and the 9 gives anyone playing JT a bigger straight. What's your play here? |

Re: worth chasing?
I would fold this. I think you have to discount your outs at least to 6 to account for 9 or a JT, in which case you are not getting enough from the pot even with implied odds. If all 8 outs are clean, you're not giving much up by passing on a marginal call for a tiny pot.

Re: worth chasing?
I would fold here. Not worth chasing in this small pot.

Re: worth chasing?
Easy fold. There's like 10 cents in this pot.
