Default Very 1st hand in tonights KOTZ (PLHE)

I am on the Button, all fold to me and I have TT. I bet the pot, SB folds, and BB (Kurn), re-raises pot, and I promptly make it 500 to go. Kurn puts me all-in and after thinking for a second I fold.

Anyone else play this any differently?

I'd have called his re-raise and seen a flop. TT is a good starting hand in that position but there are plenty of cards that you don't want to see on the flop. In a raising war like that you have to think you're behind.

Its certainly not a hand you'd call an all-in bet with in the 1st hand of a tourney. I think you were right to get away from it when facing the all-in but you could have spent less to see a flop and re-assess there.

PS: Its just occurred to me that I got knocked out of the same tourney from the blinds vs 10-10 - oh the irony!
