Default Why do respected posters avoid the Internet forum?

I know it use to be called the Zoo but the new guard came in took over and renamed it "Cookies and Cream".

Any vay vhy do respected posters stay away from the Cookies and Cream forum? Since we kicked out the old posters will respected posters now come? We could use more cream in our coffee.

Oh and when you do come don't make a mess and vote for Dilbert as Head Cookie.

Retards like you.

It's all "characters" and showmanship.

Homer and Cup can only make so many posts to make it legitimate.

Is there content over there now? I'm not really a respected poster, but I'll give it another look.

By its nature, its a transient forum. The most important thing there is bonus information. "Well Respected" posters, by definition, have been around awhile, and are generally decent, if not good poker players. Furthermore, a number of "well respected" posters are props, affiliates, or locked into one site or another.

What this means is that bonuses, and similar info is not very useful to the "respected posters."

What is useful, however, is that some like to goof around and treat the forum as a de facto social club. No problem there ... in fact, its useful as it helps "clean" the other forums (notwithstanding Spongers dump thread on the O/T.)

So, what does this mean? Bonus info is most helpful to newbies who cannot be "Well Respected" under the working definintion, therefore, the INternet forum consists mostly of newbies.

The social posters, usually do not (or cannot) post poker content that is remotely on par with many of the serious posters. Many of the hard-core poker posters, are well, hard-core poker posters ... they don't need to goof around too much.

Makes sense to me. I am a social poster; I play a lot of poker, but there is nothing I can write that has not been said before (and much better).

Whether I like Dilbert is not part of your question.

OMG... the internet forum is NOT called cookies and cream.

I've never read any other post spewed from the Ass of Dilbert, but I imagine the vomit I had to choke back down after reading this post is why no respected poster comes here.

Since all of the old skewlers are gone, if it did have to have a new name... I'd vote for the Sewer.

And Dilbert is just one of the many turds floating around in it.
