Default 88 in the blinds.

Two questions really:

1) Anyone NOT bet this flop?
2) Anyone bet the river unimproved and a non-broadway card?

Party Poker 3/6 Hold'em (10 handed)

Preflop: BigEndian is SB with 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img].
1 fold, UTG+1 calls, 6 folds, BigEndian raises, BB calls, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: (6 SB) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BigEndian bets, BB calls, UTG+1 calls.

Turn: (4.50 BB) 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
BigEndian checks, BB checks, UTG+1 checks.

River: (4.50 BB) 8[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (3 players)
BigEndian bets, BB calls, UTG+1 folds.

Final Pot: 6.50 BB
Main Pot: 6.50 BB, between BigEndian and BB.

1) no

1) yes, although maybe not all the time (but when not I am trying to induce a bluff)

1) Auto bet especially since you raised preflop (correctly).

2) I think it's close. There are just enough worse hands that can call. Anyone with a smaller pocket pair or pairing the river card will call.

Anyone bet the turn? By checking you have pretty much given up as I don't think that you can call.

I've been actively looking for ways that might be inappropriate to auto-bet. I agree that normally I auto-bet here and fold to a raise.

I don't like betting the turn, nor do I think not betting guarrantees you have to fold. In fact, I think sometimes you might raise (if last person to act bets, it's worth strongly considering). But if the turn is bet and it comes to you heads up, I think you can call.

I'm also torn about the river unimproved. I think there is value to it - maybe more so if the turn wasn't a 9. But I think there's better value in inducing a bluff. I also think it's one of the few situations I would overcall in.
