question on the rules
Hey guys I just have a quick question about rules and formalities: If I fold my hand, is it allowed that I do NOT muck my cards, but rather show them face up--even while there are still other players in the pot? I've seen this done on World Poker Tour and in Atlantic City, but my friends through a fit when i did this last night.
Is this legal? Are there sources where this can be proven? Thanks |

Re: question on the rules
You can show your cards if it is headsup, but if there are multiple players still live, it is bad form to show. If it is headsup, and you show, you are giving information away for free, but that is a whole different discussion.
Good luck, play well, Bob T. |

Re: question on the rules
Is it against the rules to be an immature tool? Frankly, I never bothered to check.

What the heck is that supposed to mean?

Re: question on the rules
It means that showing cards when you have more than one opponent ruins the play of the hand for the sake of satisfying your ego. Were you not able to pick that up for yourself?
