i watched this final table. the player that got quads 4 times was "animal mother", who is a consistent tourney player (that eventually won this one). i busted out 39th i think, but what amazed me was that the guy who went out third was absolutely screaming about how it was his first AND LAST visit to pokerstars.

i will admit that i witnessed, and was a part of, some mighty strange hands, but give me third place and i will shut my mouth lol.

i'm growing tired of these "pokerstars rigged" threads, but i think people are clearly looking for oddball things at this site because of the rumors. i'm sure the deal is fine there, but i pity them when hands happen like they did last night.

finally, i would GUARANTEE that if stars had any "control" over the deal, they would never put those "miracle rivers" out there. there is no way that they would not just produce "normal" rivers just to quash the rumors.

am i saying that all the really weird stuff that happened last night is an argument FOR pokerstars being LEGIT??

yup, that is exactly what i'm saying.

Default HERE\'S PROOF IT\'S RIGGED !!!!!

My last tourney- went out with QQ vs. AA. All-in after flop and no card bigger than a 9 came.

My next to last tourney- went out with 88 vs. AK. All-in preflop (I had micro stack) and not only did a K come but 2 OF THEM!!!!!!!!!!

My belief is this shows there is NO DOUBT

What there is no doubt of...............I don't know.

What is interesting to me is the fact that dozens of players have made this claim independently and believed it enough to post on this forum. To post a claim of suspected dishonesty of a pokersite usually ends in the claimer being immediately banished to Kooktown by the 2+2 poker elitest.

I never have seen any (or many-if there were a couple) claims about the Paradise rigged deal...even though many more players play there. Just by the volume of posts, I think that leads someone to wonder.

Also, how does someone hitting 4 quads in a short span lend itself to validating Pokerstars...It clearly does not. The odds of making 4 quads in say 50 hands are astronomical and has probably never been done before.

It reminds me of the movie Casino, when the nephew of the local politician has 3 seperate million dollar jackpots hit on the same slot machine that he is managing. Dinero tells the kid's Uncle that he is either too dumb or he is on the take - either way he had to go. Maybe, Pokerstars is just too dumb to figure out the shuffle or they are on the take. All I know is that of the last 20 tournaments I've played there(I dont play there much - just occasionally), when I busted out after moving in or calling an all in bet - I was in the lead 16 out of those 20 times...and that seems high to me.

Im just a Kook Though

Now u forgot something. U forgot the 20 other times where you could have busted but you won. Of those 20 times, u were in the lead 16 times...

If youre somewhat a good player, youll have the best of it when youll go all in most of the time coz u wont call a big bet with crap while come of your opponents will. Obviously, even if u lead, theres a lot of cards coming and its just normal that youll lose quite often... I dont know what exact %, but QJs (or any 2 suited) will beat aces about 15-20% of the time.

If pokrstars is rigged, then I must be the owner of the site considering my results

Good point. To demonstrate this point, let's take somebody who only plays AA, no other cards under any cirmustances. Now this player will write - in the last 20 tournaments every hand I was busted out from a tourney I was in the lead. How come - 100% of hands I was in the lead and all lost. Must be rigged for sure.

I understand that the better (or at least tighter) you play - you are going to bust out more with the best hand before an all in. But I still think 16/20 seems high - I was thinking 50% would be more practical. Unless you only call the nuts and get runover by the maniacs. If you only call the nuts for all-in - then you would be at 100%.

Here's a couple hands I whitness myself:

HAND 1: Middle stage of tourney:

All fold to the chip leader on the button, he limps. SB raise 4xBB. BB call all-in. Button re-raised all-in and SB called.

Button: A [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] A [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img]
SB: Q [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img]
BB: 9 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] 9 [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img]

Board: J [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] 5 [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img]

SB hits a rnr rnr flush....

HAND 2: Same tourney, final table:

Down to three plrs, SB from previous hand is chip leader and is in the BB. SB is close behind in chip and button is low stack.

Button fold, SB raise 4xBB, BB goes all-in and SB calls.

BB: 6 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img]
SB: J [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img] J [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img]

Board: K [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img] 8 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] 6 [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img] 6 [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img] Whatever....

The guy eventually won the tourney whit those two key hands where he sucked-out big time.

HAND 3: Ring game, just after the tourney.

I get dealt Q [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img] on the CO and raise 4xBB after 2or3 limpers. BB calls, 1 limper calls. We see the flop three handed and I got position.

Flop: 7 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] (OMG!!!! )

BB chk, MP bets 1/2 pot, I just call to keep BB in, BB calls.

Turn: 7 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img]

BB chks, MP chks, I bet 2/3 pot, BB call, MP folds.

River: 7 [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img] Q [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] 7 [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] K [img]/forums/images/icons/club.gif[/img] K [img]/forums/images/icons/diamond.gif[/img]

BB bets out 1/3 pot and I make a crying call..... He had A [img]/forums/images/icons/spade.gif[/img] K [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] ......

[censored], This must be [censored]ing rigged! Can't [censored]ing belive this [censored]ing [censored]!!!!!

Okay now, just for the record: THOSE ARE ALL LIVE HANDS!!!!!!!!!!!

They happenned in a tourney I hosted 6 months ago whit some friends. The QQ hand happened the same day. Pls, For christ sake. THOSE THINGS HAPPEN!!!! If they really wanted to favor somebody, you can be sure they'd be more subtle then giving him four Quads at the final table.... Jeez...

In my last three home games, I saw all the fellowing hands: QQ vs 88 on a Q8Q flop, QQ vs Q7 on a 7Q7 flop. I myself caught Quads whit QQ on a 4Q4Q8 board (did'nt got payed off thought). If those hand had happenned online, we'd be sure to ear:

-"This is rigged!!! those Queens comes out far to often!!!"....

Also saw my friend catch quad T's whit buried TT and a Royal flush whit A [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] Q [img]/forums/images/icons/heart.gif[/img] in a 30 min span..... THOSE THINGS HAPPEN!!!!!! THAT'S POKER!!!!!!!!! In B&M, losers blame dealers. Online, they blame the algorithem of the site and says it's rigged. Hey! this adds up! Whiners are Losers!! That's it! .......

Bytheway, I read the editor note on card player magazine couple months back. The editor (can't remember his name right now) talked about a tourney witch ended whit Quad Jacks beaten by a str8flush... Was that rigged too???

Ganny is absolutly right. I'd be much more afraid of a site where no such thing ever happen. That would be much more suspect...

I rest my case. If you disagree then go to hell. I've already wasted too much time on this.
