Should I bet the turn to protect my pair I made? Or just take the free card?

What was your thinking behind the pre-flop raise? Personally, I'd limp after another limper in your position with this hand, but I probably miss some chances to raise pre-flop.

Anyway, on the turn, I'm betting this. You certainly want to give a naked Ace or Queen a chance to fold. You're probably ahead on the turn, and if not, you have a lot of live draws.

You have a lot of outs and there might be a good chance that you have the best hand. You've got 9 spades 2 tens and 2 jacks. (I dont think you can count the jacks as full outs). You have to bet for value.

If I didn't hit the pair on the turn it would be an easy check for me, but making second pair and seeing no aggression I would value bet. If I get raised I'm looking to improve or fold the river.

Alright. Bet to protect my hand and charge naked aces and weaker pairs. Against no aggression, if I don't improve, usually bet the river for value, right?

bet that turn. I think it's more a value bet than protection. I check the river as well and watch the pot go to some moron with K2.

grunchalicious!

I think with 3 callers on the turn that I would be more likely to check behind on the river if I didn't improve.
