Getting used to 3/6
Villan was 22/0/1.13 over only 30 hands, so read is somewhat meaningless.

Re: Getting used to 3/6
That's a ballsy freaking river c/r if he has the straight.
He also could have flopped a flush and was letting you bet his hand for him. Either way, I play it the same. |

Re: Getting used to 3/6
This is exactly why im checking the river, especially if you are calling that last one on the river.

Re: Getting used to 3/6
I think if you're going to bet the river you need to fold to the checkraise. He called from the SB so he can have a ton of hands that beat one pair here.

Re: Getting used to 3/6
You should check that river for sure IMO. Or be able to fold to a CR.

Re: Getting used to 3/6
This hand is so odd. Any good hand should be betting the river, and it just makes me wonder if he is on a stone bluff when he check/raises. This is one of those calls that I make (and I'm sure are wrong) and figure that not many others would make. His play just doesn't make any sense here, gah I really don't mind checking on the end or betting since any pair will probably call us. Tough spot dude.

Folding for one more (even if raised) seems wrong too ... [ QUOTE ] and it just makes me wonder if he is on a stone bluff when he check/raises. I couldn't figure why he'd call a preflop raise with K [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] even if he put me on a steal move. He did have to call all the way down with the K though. Just one of those hands. Thanks for being the first reply that doesn't make me feel silly for betting this. |
