Does Villain Have AA or KK often enough to make this a bad call?
This is 4 hands into tonight's 200K special so I have ZERO read on villain. I called without much hesitation as I've been in similar situations where I've doubled up as villain is pushing with TPTK - but never 4 hands in. In fact, I did it two hands into the PP 300+20 this afternoon. Would the better players (one of which I am admittedly yet NOT ) lay this down?

umm... what the hell happened to this hand history?
if he pushed preflop, I'd instacall if he pushed on the flop after a small bet, I'd probably call? I dunno, that's tougher imo. |

ya I'm going to call his push, I can never make folds like this in tourneys.. I might consider raising the Queens as well preflop, but I also like to play them tricky in SB/BB situations

Re: Does Villain Have AA or KK often enough to make this a bad call?
At the beginning there are too many donks to justify laying this down. I let the cards play themselves and I don't over analzye situations, especially in a Party Super. You made the right play... Villian shows ridiculous [censored] alot of the time, along with the occasional KK and AA

re-raise preflop. either way, all your money is most likley going in ... and being shippe to villain. it takes a good read to lay this down on the flop, and one i dont make most of the time.

Villain shows AA. [/ QUOTE ] Villain has AA here 100% of the time, and he never has KK. Don't post results. |

Re: Does Villain Have AA or KK often enough to make this a bad call?
Usually that is my play, but as I have started to play better and at higher levels, I've been getting picked off and put on hands too easily. I've also gotten good hands all in and busted out at the bubble of the FT too many times where if I had called the raise rather than pushing, I think I likely push on through to the FT a few more times. So, it is something I've been working on, usually with at least some degree of success. SO I chose to see the flop first. This was a disaster...
