About the American Poker Player Championships: The tournament will take place May 11 through 24, 2006 and feature 17 events and a $5,000 buy in Championship. One of the events will be the Ladies International Poker Series (LIPS) World Championship. World Series of Poker Champion Tom McEvoy and two times Ladies World Series of Poker Champion Susie Isaacs will be the tournament host and hostess.

Each event in the tournament will be limited to 1,000 players and satellites will begin in August 2005 in casinos and card rooms throughout the United States and in Select Online Poker Rooms.
