live 10-20 game. super loose, somewhat aggressive, generally free money and i am down about a grand.
7 limpers and the button raises. SB folds, I call in the BB with Q-8s and everyone else calls. Note: the raiser is a loose passive old lady whose raise means big cards here. 9 players for 18 sb. flop is 9h 8d 7s. checked to button (raiser) who bets. I checkraise and one limper calls as does the button. Limper is a rockish old lady. She probably has at least a pair or a straight draw to call here. 3 players for 12BB turn is 9h 8d 7s [3s] I bet out. Standard right? |

I believe that this is a standard play.
The 3 of spades could not have helped any of you opponents hands and you now have a solid draw to go along with your 8. I believe betting is the right play. |

Standard. The limper is most likely on a straight draw and the 3s gives you more outs and likely helps no one else. The raiser just called your checkraise so it's OK to put'em on overcards that may well fold the turn.
