Default Limit Holdem Special Olympics

I feel like I deserve a medal after this hand..

BB is 67/4/0.5 with a 42 WTSD. Button is even worse, although more aggro, 72/21/0.9. His openlimp combined with those stats helped me rule out TP from his holdings.

Is this overcall stupid? Button has a 44 WTSD and could have picked up a lot of stuff I beat along the way.

The overcall here is bad, especially after the passive BB bets the river.

If we had KT I'd say value-bet the river. We are going to be outkicked by a T or lose to an A very often here - there are lots of draws to call on the flop or turn but the river we will expect worse hands to check behind and better hands to bet. I don't think there are enough worse hands that will call so we check-fold to this action.

With his pfr of 4, I don't think you can rule out an Ace from his holdings. BB has a high WtSD, but he's also incredibly passive. Runner runner just hit, and you've got a mid pair with no kicker. With that overcall I don't think you're good here 1 in 8 times.

Yeah, the way the hand went down, the BB had a split pair of deuces and button had a better T (T9). I kind of thought I had him beat, but you're right, it is a total parlay to overcall. I feel dumb.

Well, RE: raising preflop, i was talking about button having an A, not BB.
