Default Is limit Omaha hi not very popular in casinos?

I notice that whenever I go to foxwoods they only have Omaha 8/b games. I figured regular Omaha would've been the norm. I guess I was wrong?

I looked into this a couple of years ago as part of my job (I was a host/prop at the Bike). The only place it was still popular (assuming you are speaking of limit Omaha) was in the New Orleans/Gulf Coast area and one heavily promoted small game in the outskirts of Las Vegas.

IMO the problem with the game is that it is a bit too simple to play. Even the live ones learn that they have to play nut poker, and most of the edge comes down to hand selection.

Would be curious as to others opinions as I used to sort of enjoy this game many years ago when it was played at Binions in Las Vegas.

They play a lot of half and half in Edmonton with Texas Hold'em and Omaha Hi being the two games. Even at the highest limit being spread is you can usually find this game. (Typically $15/$30)
