poosh here instead of just raise?
$11 pp SnG. down to 4 people (one stack is over T3500, other three including myself between 1k and 1695). blinds are 100/200. i am big blind with T1570. i get A [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]. folded to SB (started hand with T1695)who just calls. SB had seen about 75% of the flops so far. i raised 400. should this have been a push or was this raise ok?
in any event SB calls and flop comes J [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] T [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]. SB checks. i pushed my T975......right move at this point? |

Re: poosh here instead of just raise?
Push pre-flop. Since you did not do that, push the flop. You know you are committed after the flop and the pot is big enough to avoid screwing around.

Re: poosh here instead of just raise?
The SB is showing weakness by completing, jump on it and push. Note that unless you suspect this is a tricky player who is trapping, you should be pushing much worse than A10 in this spot.
