Default T4s in SB, River decision

UTG+1 hasn't been in the game for long but has played 5 out of 8 hands. Why did he wait until the turn? I thought it was more likely he had flopped a set than exactly T9. Since there were 3 tens out already he could have T9 3 ways. And the other hands alot more ways. Is my thinking correct on this and should I 3-bet this river?

Party Poker 2/4 Hold'em (9 handed)

Preflop: Hero is SB with 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].
UTG folds, UTG+1 calls, MP1 folds, MP2 calls, MP3 folds, CO (TA-A) folds, Button folds, Hero completes, BB checks.

Flop: (4 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (4 players)
Hero bets, BB folds, UTG+1 calls, MP2 calls.

Turn: (3.50 BB) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (3 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, MP2 folds, Hero calls.

River: (7.50 BB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
Hero bets, UTG+1 raises, Hero ...?

Final Pot: 15.50 BB

You should 3-bet the turn for sure. Given that you didn't the river should be an automatic 3-bet here.

Does anyone else fold this preflop? I normally want 3 limpers in front of me to call this in the SB so I get 9:1 if BB calls.

Yes, I would have probably folded pre-flop. I didn't even look at pre-flop in my initial response - pot size told me there was no pre-flop raise so I assumed he was in the BB.

It's close though and probably doesn't matter much.

I would probably not call pf here. Having said that, not 3 betting the river is criminal

I 3-bet the river and he capped, I called and he showed me T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. Happens
