Can\'t Get Off the Ground With PokerTracker!
Here's what I've done: I'd downloaded PT successfully, obtaining the HE version in the trial form. I then loaded successfully 79 hands I'd played yesterday (from about 5 tables at PokerStars).
I've attempted to use PT, and have actually gotten it to go thru display of a single hand, with a table and players similar to actual internet casino poker play. But I don't have HANDS, just a hand. My expectation is that I could take a single day's session, find the top 10 winning hands and the top 10 losing hands, and then view each of them in display mode. This procedure would lead me to conclusions about weaknesses I have in my game. But I find only one hand. What am I doing wrong? What can I do to get PT working for me? Do you strongly advise using the PT Forum for my questions? Support? Thanks in advance!!! Dave |

Appreciate it!
Unfortunately I don't have hands to analyze. Your linkage addresses what I could do if I have hands, and it's wonderful and tantilizing, but I'm out of luck. Help! Dave |

Re: Can\'t Get Off the Ground With PokerTracker!
I've suspected that I was somehow filtering all hands out of my session. Then I noticed the list of 43 players I'd played against during the session. When I selected myself, I found that all 79 hands were visible to me, and were the working database of hands. Then I was able to work with any one of these hands, as to actually following play of these hands with the pokertable-like display.
I haven't figured out how to get the play in the display to unfold at my stated rate of time passage, though I see the slide for doing this. I also noted that my cards aren't specifically shown in the display, yet I realize they would be known to me, since I actually high-lighted the very hand I wished to see played in display mode. I'm getting there, and thanks for checking my post(s)! Dave |

This may be the reason you don't see your cards. Also, there is an option to show all known hole cards, so that should work too. Don't know what to tell you about the playback speed. Have you tried pausing it, adjusting the speed, and unpausing? Not sure if that will do it, but it would be worth giving it a shot. Is the speed changing at all? Is it changing, but just not to what you want it to be? That info may help someone figure out what your problem is. Good luck! It's a great program that is well worth the cost. I think you'll like it! |
