During current hold\'em session you saw the flop?
I know that one of the worst flaws of beginner players is that they play too many hands. My question to those who play many tournaments is: on average what percent of the flops do you see? (provided you play solid tight-aggressive poker.)
I see roughly 17% to 20% of the flops. just wanted to know if im not too far off from you experienced guys. |

I'm still learning myself, but after reading these forums obsessively for a few weeks, I'm now running about the same as you. 15%-20%.

Re: During current hold\'em session you saw the flop?
After 20k hands on Absolute, I am @ 33% :\
I do play fairly agressively, and i often find myself in final 5 and ITM around 40~50% of the time, so my %'s are slightly justified. I do play tighter early on , but once i find a double up, dear lord i like to see the flop. Edit: Oops im in the MTT forums, lawl... thats 20k hands of SNG's @ 33% =z. I am closer to 22% in MTT's, as I dont have to worry about short tables and playing marginal hands for value. |

Re: During current hold\'em session you saw the flop?
I don't always play tight aggressive poker, so it varies. Mosttimes its in the 18-22 range, other times its 35-45%. Really depends on the table on how much I'll mix it up.

Re: During current hold\'em session you saw the flop?
Depends on the table and tourny situation.......in the early levels, my % of flops seen can be as high as 35%. During the later levels, that number drops to around 20%, but then Im raising almost every pot I enter.

Early on, especially in tournaments with deep stacks, its usually higher than 30%.
