Intersting hand from last night
I thought all 3 streets were intesting here and had some areas of disucssion
Party Poker 5/10 Villain is 43/4 and hasn't gotten out of line post flop. 3 limpers, sb completes I check J [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] in the bb Flop Jd Td 8d sb checks, I bet, utg folds, villain raises, rest of limpers fold, I call. Who bets out here? Who checks? I bet b/c unless somoene flopped the flush, I have a huge equity in this pot. Raising is good b/c it elimantes hand w/overcards and gutters that I don't want hanging around. Turn brick (3c I think) I bet out he calls anyone check call/check raise? I was thinking that if I'm raised here I can probably fold, good or bad thinking? River Qd I check, planning on calling? Anyone bet here? My thinking was that I didn't want to bet and fold to a raise w/my strait so check calling was ok. Thoughts? |

Re: Intersting hand from last night
Given your read of villain, I think c/c sux on the river. He seems straightforward LP, and won't raise you without the flush. The pot isn't that big, so he would have to bluff raise you a lot on the river to make a fold bad. I like the sng on the turn, and I think this river is textbook clark.

I agree, I think the only thing that was wrong here was the river. Value betting on a 4-flush board is fun!
