Should I generally think a player is playing strong w/a mediocre/week hand usually until I get a better idea of how they play? I'm thinking as I write this that I should have reraised for information. What amount should it have been? www.aapleague.com "See how you can turn your online or home game tournament play into a major poker tournament seat!" |

Re: Critique my play on this hand please
Given no reads, I probably fold that too. IF Mad Max was thinking "I think the min-raise is a big PP, and unlikely to be AA since I hold one, and furthermore if the player who called behind me holds a better ace, I can probably push him off of it by raising" well, kudos to him. It is, of course, equally likely (unless you have evidence to the contrary) that his thought process was "WOAH! I HAVE A PAIR OF ACES!".
The power of acting immediately after the initial raiser, I guess... |
